JDRF (1997-2015)

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is an international non-profit organization that raises money and recruits advocates to raise awareness for Type 1 Juvenile diabetes. WebDriven has provided web design and customer application development and ongoing support to JDRF since 1997 on multiple web properties.

Promise To Remember Me

Designed to coincide with Children’s Congress, Promise begins every two years with a stated goal for child advocates to meet face-to-face with all 468 federal legislators.

As an anonymous user you can browse meeting posts by state and legislator.

Attendees upload a photo, attendee names and a brief description of the event.

Admin: State and regional volunteers coordinate and schedule meetings and post upcoming meetings on the site. Additionally admins can filter the advocate database and send email blasts to prospective attendees and volunteers to remind them of upcoming meetings.

Tell Your Story

A web site designed to capture user-generated stories and videos to support the semi-annual research requests to Congress.

Visitors to the site are greeted by a map of the United States that shows contributor images/photos. Stories appear with special priority given to more recent posts. Posts are moderated by a JDRF administrator.

Children’s Congress

Held every two years, JDRF gathers two children from each state to D.C. for Capitol Hill meetings to encourage their federal representatives to support diabetes research funding.

WebDriven has provided live blogging coverage and video interviews with real-time updates to the site during the three-day event.
